The governments of Kazakhstan and Vietnam have recently approved an agreement that exempts citizens of both countries from visa requirements. The agreement was issued on June 13, 2023, and came into immediate effect. Under the agreement, citizens of both countries can travel to each other’s countries without a visa for up to 30 days.
The agreement states that citizens possessing a valid national passport of either country, with a minimum validity of six months, will not require a visa to enter, exit, transit or temporarily stay in the territory of the other country. The duration of this stay should not exceed 30 days from the date of entry. Additionally, citizens can remain in the other country for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period. Any stay beyond this period would require a visa.
