Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Israel

According to the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Israel on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports. Agreement signed on May 21, 2009, and effective from December 6, 2012:

  • Nationals of either Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic passports, shall be exempted from the obligation to obtain a visa for the purpose of entering the territory of the other Party for a visit or a stay not exceeding ninety (90) days from the date of entry.
  • Nationals of either country, holders of valid diplomatic passports, who intend to stay in the territory of the other Party for a period exceeding ninety (90) days, are required to obtain visas in advance.
  • Nationals of either country, holders of valid diplomatic passports, exercising official functions ni the territory of the other Party as members of a diplomatic or consular staff, who are residing in the territory of the other Party and members of their families forming part of their household are required to obtain a visa and/or to complete necessary procedures for registration of stay at the competent authorities of the other Party within thirty (30) days from their date of entry.
