Vietnam is known to be a beautiful country with a beautiful landscape, forests, beaches, historical places, delicious cuisine, and unique culture and heritage. It seats in the Asia-Pacific region.
With more and more European airlines flying directly to Vietnam, it’s now easy for citizens of the Czech Republic to go on a holiday to this beautiful Southeast Asian country. Vietnam is home to beautiful beaches, vibrant historical and cultural attractions, and friendly locals. It’s also known for its delicious cuisines. Indeed, Vietnam is a perfect destination for Czechs who are seeking a relaxing holiday.
Aside from the many flight options, getting a visa to Vietnam is now so easy for Czechs as well. That’s because the Vietnam Immigration Department has introduced the Vietnam e-visa privilege to citizens of more than 80 countries including the Czech Republic.
The Vietnam Evisa is an online version of the Vietnam visa. You just need to print this online documentation and present it at the immigration to be allowed entry to Vietnam. This electronic visa allows Czech visitors to stay in Vietnam for up to 30 days, for business, tourism, or medical purposes.
The e-visa was part of the Vietnam government’s plan to encourage more foreign visitors to come to the country. This privilege was launched last February of 2017. By offering the e-visa, the Vietnam government is hoping that their tourism industry will be significantly improved. Indeed, ever since the e-visa was launched, the number of foreign travelers to Vietnam has increased.
The process of applying for the Vietnam e-visa for citizens of the Czech Republic is so easy. In fact, you can do it right in the comfort of your home, for as long as you’re connected to the Internet. Just make sure you prepare the following requirements:
The processing time of your Vietnam e-visa will vary greatly. During the busy season, there might be a slight delay in your visa processing. Luckily, you have an option to choose the length of time that you want for your e-visa:
The Vietnam e-visa for citizens of the Czech Republic will be valid for 30 days from your arrival in Vietnam. It’s a single-entry visa and this means you can only use it to enter the country once. Even if you are re-entering within 30 days of your first entry, you will not be allowed entry since the e-visa is not valid for a multiple-entry option.
When your Vietnam e-visa is approved, the Vietnam Immigration Department will send it to your email. You don’t need to visit an embassy to claim the visa. All you need to do is to print the visa and bring it on your trip.
As you enter Vietnam and pass by the immigration counter, make sure you show your e-visa copy along with your passport. The details on your visa must correspond with what’s on your passport. So be very careful when you fill out the online application form. Double-check all information to avoid any issues when entering Vietnam.
The biggest advantage of the Vietnam e-visa is that you can apply for this visa anywhere you are in the world. All you need to do is to connect to the Internet. Access the official website of the Vietnam Immigration Department and choose the option to apply for an e-visa.
You will then be taken into a page that will ask you to supply some information. Fill it out completely and make sure that all details are correct. Review the information before you proceed to the next page. If everything is correct, click the next page to enter your payment details.
On the payment page, you will be asked to enter your card details. This is a secure page so there’s really no need to worry. Aside from debit card or credit card, you can also pay using PayPal. If your payment is accepted, you will receive a confirmation that your visa is already being processed. After about three business days, you’ll get an email with a PDF attachment and this is the visa that you need to print.
