To request for the e-visa, you just need to visit their official website and fill out the online application form. The entire process will only take around 10 min and within 3 business days, your e-visa will be approved. Here’s how to apply for a Vietnam e-visa for citizens of Argentina.
First, you need to go to the website for e-visas to fill out the application form. On this page, you’ll be asked to provide your email address. This is very important because this is where your e-Visa will be sent. Then you need to indicate your arrival and departure date, as well as your contact number. Take note that the e-Visa is only good for 30 days and it’s a single-entry visa. Therefore your departure date should be within 30 days from the date of your arrival. You have an option to extend your visa at a later time.
Next, you need to indicate your complete name and nationality, which is Argentina. You’ll also be asked to indicate your birthdate, birthplace, country of residence, as well as details of your passport. It’s very important that you enter your passport number correctly, along with the expiration date and issue date.
Next, you will be asked to choose the type of visa to apply. Since you’re applying for e-Visa, then choose this option. You can also opt for the Visa on Arrival option that will allow multiple entries. However, for the Visa on Arrival, you’ll have to queue at the visa counter as you arrive. This can be a hassle especially if you arrived in the middle of the night. With the e-visa, there’s no longer a need to queue. Just print the visa, carry it on your trip, and show to the immigration officer along with your passport.
You will then be asked to identify your port of arrival. As of the moment, the e-Visa is accepted in 28 different ports of entry. These include airports and land borders. Simply choose from the drop-down list, where you intend to enter the country.
The next thing that you will find is the processing time and fee. You will be asked to choose from Standard, Rush, and Super Rush Processing. The Standard Processing time is 3 business days and will cost you $25. As for the Rush Processing time, it will cost $50 and will only take 2 business days. If you need it very urgently, then choose the Super Rush Processing, which will cost you $80 and will take 1 business days or less for the processing time.
On the final page, you will be asked to make a payment. So be ready with your credit card or debit card for this. Before you submit the payment, it would be best to double-check the information you have entered again just to ensure that there are no errors. Otherwise, the processing of your visa will be delayed. Worse, the Vietnam Immigration Authorities might reject it and you won’t be able to enter the country.
After you make a payment, you will receive a registration code that you need to take note. This will be required later on when you need to check the status of your visa. Once your visa is approved, you will receive an email for the PDF copy of your e-Visa. Download the file and print it out.
On your trip to Vietnam, carry a printed copy with you on your flight. When passing through immigration, simply present the e-Visa along with your passport. The immigration officer will then stamp your passport and you can enter Vietnam.
As you can see, applying for e-Visa for citizens of Argentina is extremely easy. It won’t take up a lot of your time as well, which is why it’s more convenient than the other visa options. So if you are planning a trip to Vietnam soon, you better apply for an e-Visa. If possible, request for the e-Visa at least two weeks before your trip to the country. That way, you will have ample time to wait and you’ll not be forced to pay more for the rush processing.
