The judicial record certificate is also known as the lack of a criminal record certificate since the document will serve as proof of whether a person has a criminal record or not while living in Vietnam.
Usually, the certificate is needed when applying for a work permit, adoption, employment, school attendance, etc. Even if the foreigner is not in Vietnam, he or she is eligible to request a judicial record certificate.
