But one of the challenges to staying longer in Vietnam is the visa. As a foreigner in the country, your stay is only limited to the validity of your visa. If your visa is only valid for 30 days, then you should get it extended so you can stay and live longer in Can Tho City.
Visa extension is the process of extending the validity of your Vietnam visa. If your visa is only valid for 30 days, this can be extended to thirty more days. This option is also available to other types of visas, including those visas that are valid for 60 days. However, you can only request for the visa to be extended in the same validity period or less. Depending on your status, additional documents may be required for your visa to be extended. This is why it’s a good idea to call the Vietnam Immigration Office in advance. If you are trying to extend your visa with the help of a local travel agency, the agency will advise you on what other requirements you need to submit.

👉 1. First, check with the Immigration Office what other requirements are required other than your passport and visa copy. Make sure you have all these requirements with you when you go to the Vietnam Immigration Office in Can Tho City.
👉 2. On the day of your appointment, submit the requirements and fill out the application form if you have not done it yet. Give the form to the staff when you’re done. The staff will check the application form and the corresponding requirements. If everything is complete, they will collect your payment for the processing fees.
