Following the newest decision from Vietnam Government, people who come to Phu Quoc Island (Vietnam) for tourist purpose will be free 30 days Visa. This decision will take place from 10 Mar, 2014.
Also, the foreigner, the Vietnam foreign passports who enter, exit and residence in Phu Quoc Island are exempt from visa for temporary stay (not exceeding 30 days)
In case of foreigners who come to Vietnam by international gate (including road, air and sea), stay at transit area at the gate, and then forwarded to Phu Quoc island is also exempt from visa requirements in accordance with this.
All visitors travel to Phu Quoc Island can stay in the island up to 30 days without a visa. Visitor who want to stay for 30 days visa-free in Phu Quoc island are required to stay within the island for maximum 30 days then exit to for home country or another countries.

Citizens of Belarus will be exempted for 15 days of visas into Vietnam as from July 1, 2015. Under a resolution just issued by the government, visitors from Belarus are allowed to enter and stay in Vietnam for up to 15 days without visas regardless of passport types and purpose of visit.
